i just watched “Ladies First” on Neflix and i just remember the time when i was a kid.

when i was maybe seven, i started to dream about changing my environment,

not the go-abroad-change but to change the community i had in a good way.

i started thinking that i would fix the electrical cables to make it look neat,

i would fix the roads, my neighbor’s houses, including the street lights and my nearby school.

the sky is the limit in dreaming these things

i had dreams that someday, a few years from the seven year old self, that things will be better

i wish i never knew the things i know now

growing up, you will suddenly realize that life is not all fair

that people do not get what they deserve

that even when a farmer is out under the sun the whole day, he still dont have food on his table

that a worker who stays seated the whole day got well paid because he had a privilege of entering a university

that a street vendor often go unnoticed in a busy highways selling a dollar worth of watches just to feed his family

i see people living day by day

they dont have the luxury to plan for tomorrow,

let alone a vacation

there are people living meals by meals

worrying about food every single day

this world is not fair
